I believe it is so because there is alot of oil in the Middle East. And because there is alot of oil everybody wants as much oil as they can possibly get from Saudi Arabia. Like we need it because the United States runs on oil. But they dont wanna give up their oil because their going to get rich with it. The oil found also brings up the economy in the middle east because there will be more money.

Japan 5.3 million barrels, China 2.9 million barrels, Germany 2.5 million barrels, South Korea 2.1 million barrels, France 2.0 million barrels, Italy 1.7 million barrels, Spain 1.6 million barrels, India 1.5 million barrels, and Taiwan 1.0 million barrels have the most oil in the world. Yes it could be why we hear more about some countries than other because they don't have the money like other countries.
